Splicing and repair sleeve are mainly used in continue and repair of the overhead power line cable and Ground wire. There are compress type, bolt and preliminary ground type according to the structural type and installation difference, the compress type with hydraulic pressure, clamp pressure and detonation pressure.

Compress type splicing fittings bear all the tension continue of the wire and ground wire, bolt type parallel groove clamp not. As electrical conductor, the resistance of the splicing fittings electric should not bigger than the resistance of being spliced conductor with same length. Under the rated voltage, the splicing point temperature should not higher than the conductor temperature when through the max load electric current for long time.
